Nicholas Caradoc Hoult attended Ranelagh School and made his acting debut in the 1996 film 'Intimate Relations' at the age of just seven. He went on to make several TV appearances in shows such as 'Silent Witness' 'Holby City' and 'Waking The Dead'. In 2002 Hoult came to the attention of the film world thanks to his lead role in 'About A Boy' with Hugh Grant. Based on Nick Hornby's bestselling novel it tells the story of an immature grown man who is taught how to act his age by a little boy. After this endearing role Hoult continued to feature in TV shows with the most notable being 'Skins' in 2007 and 2008 as he played one of the lead characters at a Bristol sixth-form college Tony Stonem.
