Bloom’s work includes developing the World Management Survey, which assesses management quality across firms globally, and pioneering studies on how uncertainty impacts economic growth.

His research on remote work, particularly in the post-COVID-19 era, has shaped workplace policies, demonstrating the productivity benefits of hybrid work.
