Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, better known as Neymar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a striker or winger for FC Barcelona and the Brazil national team. He is also the national team's captain. After finishing third in 2010, Neymar won the 2011 South American Footballer of the Year award at the age of 19.
In 2012, he repeated the feat by winning it again. Neymar was nominated for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2011, finishing 10th, and won the FIFA Puskás Award for Goal of the Year in 2012. He is noted for his speed, dribbling ability, finishing ability, and ability to play with both feet.
