Nando Parrado tells the incredible story of how he and 15 of his comrades survived 72 days in the freezing Andes Mountains after their jet crashed over 30 years ago. It is still considered one of the greatest survival stories of all time.
Nando and his Uruguayan rugby teammates were obliged to push themselves physically and mentally from the time the plane crashed on October 13, 1972, until their rescue on December 22. Nando got obsessed with living after waking up from a concussion to discover that his mother had died on impact and his sister was near death.
