Monica Lozano is the chairwoman of the board of directors of US Hispanic Media Inc., where she served as CEO until June 2014. In 2010, she took over as CEO of ImpreMedia, which was eventually bought up by Argentina's La Naci贸n and its US counterpart, US Hispanic Media.
Lozano began her work with La Opini贸n in 1985 and progressed through the ranks to become a publisher in 2004. She presently serves on the boards of Bank of America, the Walt Disney Company, University of Southern California, the Weingart Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation after serving on President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness and Economic Recovery Advisory Board.
