Mona Chalabi is a British Pulitzer Prize-winning data journalist, illustrator, and writer. She earned a bachelor's in international relations from the University of Edinburgh and a master's in international security from Sciences Po in Paris, where she also studied Arabic in Jordan.

Before journalism, she analyzed data at the Bank of England, Economist Intelligence Unit, Transparency International, and International Organization for Migration. Chalabi gained prominence visualizing complex statistics for The Guardian US and The New York Times, earning the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Illustrated Reporting and Commentary.
