Mipso music band is made up of Libby Rodenbough (vocals fiddle) Joseph Terrell (vocals guitar) Jacob Sharp (vocals mandolin) and Wood Robinson (upright bass vocals). The quartet was originally billed as Mipso Trio prior to making Rodenbough a full-time member rather than a guest artist.
After the four members graduated UNC in 2013 they embarked on a two-week tour of Japan that was depicted in the documentary Mipso in Japan by filmmaker Jon Kasbe. The film premiered at film festivals across the country in 2014. In 2015 Mipso performed on the KFC Float in Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
