Millie McGhee-Morris finished high school nearly illiterate but re-educated herself. She learned how to read at the age of 47 and attended (UMUC) University of Maryland university college to receive her MHR Degree in 2016. She has been a member of SAG/AFTRA union since 1994 and is now an Honorary life time member. She has written several youth programs for middle school/high school and college students. She has published several books for other authors and mentored new writers that are now published authors. She is the CEO of New Writers In Action Publishing in Maryland.
