American television personality Michael Sorrentino, a.k.a The Situation, was born on July 4, 1982 in the New York City borough of Staten Island and was raised in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. From 2009 through 2012, he appeared on all six seasons of Jersey Shore, an MTV reality show and on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, he made a return to the franchise. In 1999, he graduated from Manalapan High School then he went on to Brookdale Community College where he earned an associate degree. He also attended Monmouth University and Kean University. Jersey Shore ran from 2009 to 2012 and Sorrentino was a part of the cast members. Sorrentino starred as a guest on many TV series since he appeared on the show including Conan, The Jay Leno Show, Lopez Tonight, SportsNation, The Howard Stern Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, Chelsea Lately and Ellen DeGeneres Show. On Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars, Sorrentino was a contestant with his partner Karina Smirnoff and he was eliminated in the 4th week.
