He drums with Kevin Devine (Capitol) and Black Moustache on a regular basis around the United States and Europe and has recently finished recording Kevin's next album in Los Angeles with Rob Schnapf and Doug Boehm. Mike received a Roulette Grant for Experimental Music recently, and this piece will be premiered in September 2006.
Mike has been involved in the dance and performance art world for a long time. He began by writing big works for Isabel Gotzkowsky's seasons at the Joyce SoHo and the Pace Theatre, both of which were produced by Chris Bracco, a long-time partner.
