Mike worked as a senior finance/technology officer for numerous hospitality and tourism-related firms in Arizona, Washington State, Hawaii, California, and Nevada before entering the DMO sector in 1997. Mike built many applications to improve operations and enhance profitability for these firms while developing his talents. Mike chuckles as he considers if his passion for business and technology is a benefit or a burden. A brief experience in the casino software development business early in Mike's career persuaded him that statistics and technology, when properly handled, were the foundation for prosperity. He also learned to avoid gambling tables (through his profession, not hands-on experience). Mike enjoys spending his free time on many of Arizona's gorgeous golf courses when he is not working or spending time with his family.
