Since September 1985, Mike Lynch has been the primary sports anchor for WCVB-TV, Channel 5 in Boston. He may be seen on NewsCenter 5 at Six and NewsCenter 5 Tonight at 11 p.m. weeknights. Lynch became a full-time weekend sports anchor for Channel 5 in April 1983, after working part-time for the channel for a year.
