Mike Linton is a public speaker with 30 years of experience in marketing and general management. He began his career in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble in 1980 after graduating from Bowling Green State University and Duke's Fuqua School of Business. He then worked for Progressive Insurance, James River Paper Company, and Remington in marketing and general management roles.
Linton joined Best Buy in 1999 as the company's first Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing all marketing, brand management, research, Customer Relationship Management, contact centers, the Best Buy Advertising Agency, and public and investor relations. He joined eBay in late 2006, first as the Senior Vice President of eBay Motors, Canada, Half.com, and eBay Stores, then as the Chief Marketing Officer.
