Mike Joy is an American television sports broadcaster who presently works for Fox Sports as the lap-by-lap voice for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Darrell Waltrip and Larry McReynolds are his color analysts. Joy has covered 35 editions of the Daytona 500, the sport's most prestigious race.
He also works as an expert analyst for Velocity/Discovery Channel's coverage of vintage automobile auctions. Joy was named the Henry T McLemore Award winner for 2011. This award, which has been given since 1969, honors career achievement in racing journalism and is decided by previous recipients.
