Michelle McKenna Biography

Certified Public Accountant and Executive sponsor of the NFL league’s WIN – Women’s Network, Michelle McKenna, has been at the league since 2012 and Sports Business Journal honored her with a Game Changer Award. The NFL’s technology strategy, shared service delivery and management of the league’s technology activities are supervised by McKenna. She was named one of the top 40 women in business in the 2013 Forty Over Forty – Women to Watch. McKenna was Chief Information Office at Constellation Energy in Baltimore, Maryland before joining the NFL. She led the ultimate merger with Exelon and the acquisition of competitive energy businesses at Constellation and served as a board advisor working closely with the Chairman and CEO. McKenna was President of Vision Interactive Media Group, where she was responsible for technology, business development, marketing, finance and operations before moving to Constellation. At Universal Orlando Resort with an extensive experience in media and the entertainment industry, she serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer and this puts her in charge of the oversight, innovation, and leadership of technology at Universal Orlando Resort, including the launch of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. McKenna was also CRM & Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Centex Destination Properties. She worked in a variety of executive positions with The Walt Disney World Company in Finance, Marketing, Resort Development, Technology and Operations spanning 13 years. The company’s largest ever technology investment known as Destination Disney, a multi-year company strategic initiative to transform the company’s sales, marketing, online and customer relationship management processes was led by McKenna when she was Vice President, Information Technology. McKenna held positions at Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) and also at MetLife before joining Disney. She earned her master’s degree in business administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park Florida and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University. She is a sought after speaker on topics of operational change, women in leadership and technology and has graced TV shows as a guest on Bloomberg TV, Morning Joe, Good Day New York, CNN and CNBC. She lives with her husband Patrick Doyle and her children Jack and Maggie McKenna in New York City and Orlando, Florida.
