Branch was conceived on July 2, 1983, in Sedona, Arizona, to David and Peggy Branch. Her dad is Irish, and her mom is Dutch-Indonesian ("Indo"). Her maternal grandmother was held in a Japanese death camp during World War II. After the war, she moved to the Netherlands, where Branch's mom was conceived. They moved to Arizona when her mom was five. Her siblings include a stepbrother named David and a more sister named Nicole. Michelle Jacquet DeSevren Branch was born on 2 July 1983. She is an American vocalist, musician, and entertainer. During the mid-2000s, she delivered two top-selling collections: The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper. She won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals with Santana for "The Game of Love". In 2005, she shaped the country music couple The Wreckers with a companion and individual performer Jessica Harp, and created the Grammy-designated single "Leave the Pieces". The Wreckers disbanded in 2007 to seek after their individual solo professions. From that point forward, she has delivered broadened plays in 2010 and 2011, and a third independent collection, Hopeless Romantic, on 7 April 2017.
