Branch was conceived on July 2, 1983, in Sedona, Arizona, to David and Peggy Branch. Her dad is Irish, and her mom is Dutch-Indonesian ("Indo"). Her maternal grandmother was held in a Japanese death camp during World War II. After the war, she moved to the Netherlands, where Branch's mom was conceived.
They moved to Arizona when her mom was five. Her siblings include a stepbrother named David and a more sister named Nicole. Michelle Jacquet DeSevren Branch was born on 2 July 1983. She is an American vocalist, musician, and entertainer. During the mid-2000s, she delivered two top-selling collections: The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper.
