Michele Lee is a multi-talented performer who has worked as an actor, singer, dancer, producer, and director.
She is most known for her portrayal as Karen Cooper Fairgate MacKenzie in the 1980s prime-time soap opera Knots Landing (1979–93), for which she received an Emmy nomination in 1982 and three Soap Opera Digest Awards for Best Actress in 1988, 1991, and 1992. She was the series' sole performer who appeared in all 344 episodes.
