Michael W. Allman has been president and CEO of Sempra Generation a subsidiary of Sempra Energy where he oversaw the operation of merchant power plants throughout North America. Allman has spearheaded the development of several groundbreaking renewable energy projects including the country s largest solar photovoltaic plant in Boulder City Nevada.
He serves on the board of directors of the American Gas Association Los Angeles World Affairs Council and the California Chamber of Commerce. For ten years Allman held leadership positions with Sempra Energy and its subsidiaries including chief financial officer of Sempra Global and president of Sempra Technology Ventures.
