Michael Trevino is an actor from the United States. He is best known for his portrayal of Tyler Lockwood on The Vampire Diaries on The CW. Trevino grew up in Montebello, California, before relocating to Valencia. His mother was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, while his father was born to Mexican immigrants in Fresno, California. In the Disney Channel Original Movie Cow Belles, Trevino plays Jackson Meade, the heir of Meade Milk. He's also featured on Cold Case, Without a Trace, Bones, and Commander in Chief as a guest star. He appeared as an extra in Not Another Teen Movie. Trevino also played Alastair in the eighth season episode of the TV show Charmed, Malice in Wonderland. He also had a recurring part on FX's The Riches, where he played Brent, a high school student, in a four-episode plot arc in Season 1 and then again in Season 2. On the short-lived 2007 television series Cane, he played Jaime Vega. Trevino was hired in a three-episode storyline on the CW's 90210 as Ozzie, a student at West Beverly Hills High School. For a week, he pretended to be Naomi's male crush. Trevino has been starring as Tyler Lockwood on The Vampire Diaries on The CW since 2009.
