Michael McDaniel has worked on projects for MTV, Comcast, AT&T, American Airlines, Best Buy, HP, Sprint, and Disney, among others. His work at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, has earned him prizes from the Society of Environmental Graphic Designers, as well as from Cooper Union for a conceptual overhaul of the interstate highway system.
Following Hurricane Katrina's devastation of New Orleans, McDaniel began working on what would become the Exo Reaction Housing System — portable, low-cost disaster relief shelters — in his spare time over the next five years. He is the creator and CEO of Reaction Systems, Inc., as well as a principal designer at frog.
