Michael DiTullo is a passionate advocate for design as well as a skilled practitioner. He focuses on using creativity and innovation in the workplace to create disruptive lateral thinking. Michael's art has won international honors and been published in several magazines and media sources. He often lectures about the impact, value, and how-of-to's design at businesses, colleges, and conferences. Michael is responsible for ethnographic research, product definition, design strategy, brand positioning, industrial design, and marketing creative for the Definitive, Polk, and BOOM brands as Chief Design Officer at Sound United. He also contributes to core77.com, a well-known design resource, in addition to his work at Sound United. Michael was the Creative Director at frog design before joining Sound United, where he led teams that worked with Google, Motorola, Honda, Braun, Brooks, Harmon Kardon, and Intel. DiTullo worked over a decade at Nike Inc, from advanced idea through manufacturing, designing many product collections for the Converse, Jordan, and Nike brands. He began his career at Evo Design, where he worked on a variety of projects for a variety of customers. DiTullo graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Industrial Design and also attended the Cleveland Institute of Art.
