Meryl Evans serves as a TEDx speaker and holds both Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification and leadership status as a disability inclusion and digital accessibility advocate. She has dedicated her life to teach organizations how to build accessible environments which welcome people with disabilities because she was born deaf. She demonstrates the critical role of digital accessibility for achieving diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) goals.

Meryl Evans was born in Fort Worth Texas and she graduated from American University in Washington D.C. with a Bachelor's degree in Education. She worked at the Federal Aviation Administration and two Fortune 500 companies before she decided to focus on accessibility and inclusion work. The John Slatin AccessU conference in 2019 became the defining moment for Meryl to start advocating for disability rights and accessibility. She now delivers keynote presentations at TEDx and SXSW and AccessU and writes for The Wall Street Journal and Morning Brew and AdWeek and The Dallas Morning News.
