Robert Foster (born January 1, 1947) is the previous mayor of Long Beach, California. He became elected in a runoff election in 2006. Prior to serving as mayor, Foster climbed the ranks of Southern California Edison, turning into president in 2002.
Though now no longer an elected office-holder previous to turning into mayor, Foster became appointed to the California State University Board of Trustees in 1998 and labored for the California State Senate as a representative on kingdom strength coverage. Foster became born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
