Maya Leibman Biography

Maya Leibman is responsible for all information technology systems including systems development infrastructure operations and strategy. She has been Chief Information Officer & Senior VP of Information Technology at American Airlines Inc. since December 08 2011. In addition she oversees the integration of the American Airlines and US Airways technology environments. She was President of the AAdvantage loyalty program from 2010 to 2012. She served as Vice President of Business & Operations Systems at American Airlines Inc. until December 08 2011. She oversaw all aspects of the AAdvantage program and led the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and customer research initiatives for the airline worldwide. Ms. Leibman joined American Airlines Inc. in 1994 in the Revenue Management department and led a variety of pricing and yield management teams focused on optimizing airline revenue. She serves on the Dallas Theater Center board of trustees and volunteers for a number of local organizations including the So SMAART program where she works with minority girls ages 9-12 to teach them about technology and life. Ms. Leibman received her Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Chicago in 1988 and her Master of Business Administration in 1994 from the University of California Berkeley.
