Matthew Christensen Biography

Matthew Christensen founded Rose Park Advisors a firm focused on investing in innovative companies. In his capacity as CEO and Portfolio Manager at Rose Park Christensen sits on the boards of several of Rose Park's portfolio companies including Coupang one of the largest ecommerce companies in Korea. Prior Christensen worked at Innosight a consulting firm focused on helping companies deal with the challenges and opportunities of disruptive change where he led engagements in the biotechnology enterprise software grocer and financial services industries among others. He also spearheaded Innosight's small business and workshops initiatives. Before Innosight Christensen worked at the Boston Consulting Group consulting in various industries including specialty chemicals telecom technology and industrial goods. While at Duke he won a national championship in 2001 playing basketball for Coach Mike Krzyzewski. In 2002 he won the Coaches' Award given to the player best embodying the spirit of Duke Basketball as well as the Dr. Deryl Hart Award (Top Scholar-Athlete). He and his wife Elizabeth have five children.
