In 2014 Salsamendi had the opportunity to shift his team to create Beam the world's first low latency interactive streaming platform for gamers. He led his small team of engineers from behind to orchestrated to develop of a low latency HTML5 streaming stack Light and engineered an elegant web platform to complete the experience. While the team was growing these companies there grew a desire from the communities Salsamendi was involved in to meet up in person. He created ArcadiaCon in 2014 to answer that call. ArcadiaCon is a 2 day tropical event that brings over 2000 gamers together each year and is growing rapidly.
