Mary O'Doherty is assistant director of the Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence (KCADV). She oversees the KCADV's Economic Justice Project which over eleven years has helped more than 500 participants buy homes and vehicles pursue post-secondary education and start small businesses.
She was also responsible for development of KCADV Homes an $8.8 million using low-income housing tax credits to build a 48-unit supportive housing project for domestic violence victims. She's also spearheading the development of KCADV Homes-Lexington 24 units of housing in the state's second largest city.
