I am originally from Blackrock (Malone) and now live in Haggardstown with my husband Damian and five teenage children. I am a teacher in St Vincent's Secondary School Dundalk one of the largest secondary schools in the country where I have witnessed firsthand the effect of cuts to education spending particularly in the area of special needs.
I was privileged to stand as a General Election candidate for The Labour Party in the Louth Constituency earlier this year I joined the Labour Party because I strongly believe in its core values of equality community and democracy.
