Martyna Majok is a Polish-American playwright. Her plays include Sanctuary City Queens Ironbound and Cost of Living for which she won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Her work has been performed at LCT3/Lincoln Center Steppenwolf Geffen Playhouse The Williamstown Theatre Festival The Kennedy Center and many other theaters and festivals.

In addition to the Pulitzer her awards include the Dramatists Guild's Lanford Wilson Award the Lilly Awards' Stacey Mindich Prize and the Greenfield Prize for which she was the first female recipient in drama. She has taught playwriting at Williams College Wesleyan University and elsewhere and she is currently a Hodder Fellow at Princeton University.
