Mark Schultz is a Dove Award-winning contemporary Christian musician with five #1 hits on the Christian adult contemporary radio chart. Schultz was born and reared in Colby, Kansas, after being adopted at the age of two weeks. Schultz's musical talents eventually outshined his athletic ability, despite his high school athletic prowess in sports such as track and football (he was his high school's quarterback). Schultz came to Nashville, Tennessee, to seek a career in music after graduating from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Schultz, on the other hand, became involved in youth ministry and began creating songs for the youth and their families. Schultz was inspired to pursue a career as a Christian singer by the children and their families, who planned for him to perform a solo concert at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium in 2000. Schultz released his debut album, Mark Schultz, the following year. Follow, the Dove Award-winning artist's eighth studio album was released in November 2018. Schultz feels that providing to orphans in need is part of his life's destiny as an adopted kid. Schultz and his wife founded the Remember Me Mission, a non-profit committed to assisting orphans across the world, in 2011. Proceeds from Schultz's music and other creative endeavors benefit orphans in the United States and across the world.
