Mark Raymond Biography

Mark Raymond, an architect located in Port of Spain, Trinidad, has vast experience and competence in a wide range of project types. A number of private villas and an educational facility for a private educational institute are now in the works. Before returning to Trinidad in 1993, Mark studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and worked in the offices of Conran, Norman Foster, Ulrike Brandi, and Degw, as well as on projects around Europe. While starting his own firm, he aided architect Colin Laird in the design of the National Library and the Brian Lara Promenade. The firm has worked on a variety of architectural, urban planning, and design projects in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as around the Caribbean, both independently and in partnership with other architects. Mark was responsible for the design of the award-winning republic bank operations center in Chaguanas and the office of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago in Port of Spain while working as a director of the firm acla:works.
