He's written a lot on it, including his two most frequently referenced papers, The Strength of Weak Ties (1973) and Economic Action and Social Structure: The Problem of Embeddedness (1985). In recent years, he has focused on the economy's social roots.
His work, Society and Economy, will be published in two volumes by Harvard University Press. The first book is more theoretical, focusing on the function of social networks, norms, trust, authority, and institutions in the economy. It was published in early 2017 and is named Society and Economy: Framework and Principles.
