Marjorie J. Thompson is a Presbyterian Church USA-appointed pastor. Swarthmore College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies, and McCormick Theological Seminary awarded her a Master of Divinity.
She became a Study Fellow at Yale Divinity School after completing a post-graduate pastoral internship, where she studied Christian spirituality with Henri Nouwen and conducted independent research in ecumenical prayer traditions.
