Marianne Williamson co-founded the Peace Alliance. She is an activist, internationally renowned lecturer, and author of four #1 New York Times bestselling books. For more than three decades, she was well known as one of America’s public voices running for president of the United States in the 2020 elections; appearing alongside other candidates like Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, and Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas). Out of her twelve published books, seven have been New York Times best sellers and Williamson was a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Good Morning America, and Bill Maher. Williamson's books include The Age of Miracles, Everyday Grace, A Woman’s Worth, Illuminata, The Law of Divine Compensation, Healing the Soul of America, A Course in Weight Loss, The Gift of Change, and Tears to Triumph: The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment, and Politics of Love: Handbook for a New American Revolution. Williamson is a native of Houston, Texas. In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people living with AIDS in the Los Angeles area. Till date, Project Angel Food has served over 11 million meals.
