Marc Metrick Biography

Mr. Marc J. Metrick has been the President of Saks Fifth Avenue, Inc. since April 2015. Mr. Metrick served as Chief Administrative Officer of Hudson's Bay Company since September 2013 until April 2015. Mr. Metrick served as Chief Administrative Officer of Saks Incorporated since November 4, 2013. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) since April 2012 until September 2013.

Mr. Metrick served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Saks Inc. since February 2007 and its Executive Vice President since June 2010. Mr. Metrick served as a Group Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Saks Fifth Avenue Inc. since February 2007. Mr. Metrick served as Group Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning of Saks Inc., from February 2007 to June 2010. He joined Saks Inc., in June 1995 as an Executive Trainee.

His career in retail has covered buying, merchandise planning, finance and strategy. Since June 1997, he served in various planning roles, including Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Vice President of Strategic Planning.

Mr. Metrick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
