In 2006, 2009, and 2011, Marc Coma won the Dakar Rally in the motorbike category. He's also won five times in the Rally of the Pharaohs, three times in the Rally Raid of Sardinia, three times in the Rally of the Pampas, the UAE Desert Challenge (2007), and the Rally of Morocco (2006). He also four times won the Rally Raid World Championship. He won every race in the 2010 season of the championship. His success story is filled with instances of how to overcome hardship, significant setbacks, and catastrophic falls, all based on his talent and determination. Coma, who has always been a model of competitiveness and togetherness, won his final Dakar Rally with Team Red Bull KTM after aiding the Yamaha team's pilot Olivier Pain. Coma began his racing career in the trial world before transitioning to enduro. He also finished second in the Rally Dakar 2012. Following that championship, Coma joined the Spanish National Enduro Team, with whom he won silver in the World Enduro Championship the following year. Other outstanding successes in the following years included a fourth place in the Senior Enduro European Championship in the 175cc category, the World Enduro Championship U23, the United Nations World Enduro Championship, and third place in the Enduro World Championship for National Teams.
