Manuel Luis Jacinto is a Canadian actor who was born in the Philippines. After a few minor roles on tv, he had his big break in 2016 as Jason Mendoza on the NBC sitcom The Good Place. In 2018, he was featured in Top Gun: Maverick, a feature film. Jacinto was born in the Philippines, in the city of Manila.
When he was approximately three years old, his family immigrated to Canada, and he was reared in Richmond, British Columbia. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science in civil engineering, he pursued his passion for performance by competing in hip-hop dance contests before pursuing an acting career.
