Mack Rutherford is the youngest person to fly solo around the world. He took off in March 2022 at age 16 and broke the world record of the youngest person to fly solo around the world aged at the age of 17. The previous youngest person was 18 when they completed their circumnavigation.
Rutherford has been flying all his life and was inspired by my sister Zara and my family. He used the opportunity to meet young people on his route who do incredible things, making a difference in their communities or even in the world.
