Lynn Tilton is the founder and CEO of Patriarch Partners LLC, an investment business with over 74 firms across 14 industries. Ms. Tilton is dedicated to preserving American employment by preserving American businesses. Tilton has owned and reorganized more than 240 firms with total sales in excess of $100 billion, representing 700,000 employees, through associated investment vehicles since 2000. Dura Automotive, Spiegel Catalogs, MD Helicopters, Rand McNally, and Stila Cosmetics are among the current investments. Tilton's platform is the country's largest woman-owned enterprise. She was named one of the 100 Leading Women in the Automotive Industry by Automotive News in 2010. Ms. Tilton was voted Entrepreneur of the Year by the Living Legends of Aviation in 2011, making her the first female to win the honor, and she was admitted into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame in 2012. She also contributed to the creation of the XPrize, which aims to improve cognitive performance in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Tilton received the inaugural Business Pioneer Award at the United Nations' first Women's Entrepreneurship Day in 2014, honoring her contributions to the global effort to promote and encourage women-owned companies. She was also named the 2014 ITA Achievement Award winner by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the organization's highest accolade, which was handed during the US Open for her business success and humanitarian initiatives.
