Luther Nicholson known by his stage name Lute is an American rapper from Charlotte North Carolina. He is signed to fellow North Carolinian J Cole's Dreamville Records. His first mixtape West1996 was released in 2012. He released his debut album West1996 pt. 2 in 2017. Lute has toured with J Cole and EarthGang.
