Luisa-Marie Neubauer is a climate activist from Germany. She is one of the primary organizers of Germany's climate-related school strike. She supports de-growth and pushes for a climate strategy that complies with and beyond the Paris Agreement. Neubauer is a member of the Green Youth and Alliance 90/The Greens. Neubauer has established himself as one of the most prominent Fridays For Future campaigners as of the beginning of 2019. Many media publications refer to her as the movement's German face. Since 2015, she has served as a young ambassador for the non-profit organization ONE. She's also a member of the Foundation for Future Generations' Rights, 350.org, the Right Livelihood Award Foundation, the Fossil Free movement, and The Hunger Project. She's the author of Vom Ende der Klimakrise, a book that foreshadows the climate movement's future. Neubauer was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. She has three siblings, two of whom live in the United Kingdom. Lennard, her older brother, was a semi-professional football player in Oxford.
