SunSport revealed yesterday the French striker refused to play for the reserves last week. Saha coming back from injury was dropped from the squad for Saturday's clash with Wigan. And he will not be considered for tonight's Carling Cup tie against West Brom. Boss David Moyes has spoken to Saha over the player's outburst on Twitter following his axe.
Coach Steve Round said: He was asked if he wanted to participate in the reserve game but didn't feel he needed it at that stage. The manager is going to keep a close eye on his training and see how he improves over the next week or two. I think the manager has quietly spoken to him.
