Tyler Minford AKA Louis Futon, a 23-year-old Philadelphia native, has risen to stardom in just two years. Louis Futon, who is heavily influenced by hip-hop, is the only producer to have created official remixes for Logic, Mos Def, G-Eazy, Future, Wiz Khalifa, and other artists. Louis states defiantly that genres do not define him, regardless of his inspirations.
Louis is able to break boundaries in a variety of ways, from making Trap and Future Bass influenced originals to alter the DNA of some of Hip-biggest Hop's songs. Louis Futon has fashioned out a genre that paradoxically conforms to none, often consisting of bright melodies and repetitive electro-tones propelled by Hip-Hop percussion.
