Lorrie Norrington Biography

With over 30 years operating experience in technology, software, and internet businesses; Lorrie Norrington, is a consultant, advisor, board member, and private investor, who held various positions at eBay Inc., from 2005-2011. Norrington was President of eBay Marketplaces and led all eBay businesses in 39 countries before leaving eBay in March 2011. From January 2008 to July 2008, she served as President and COO of eBay Marketplaces from January 2008 to July 2008 and President of eBay International, in Europe and Asia, from July 2006 until January 2008. Before joining eBay, Norrington served as CEO of Shopping.com Inc., an online shopping comparison site acquired by eBay in 2005. Norrington was also an officer at Intuit, Inc., from August 2001 to January 2005 where she led the Quicken and QuickBooks brands and later became an Executive Vice President in the Office of the CEO. She also led a variety of businesses at General Electric Company over a twenty-year period in a broad range of industries, including her last position as an officer of GE and CEO of GE FANUC. Norrington earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS degree from the University of Maryland. She serves on the board of DIRECTV, Autodesk and TaskRabbit. From November 2004 to August 2005, she served on the board of Shopping.com and McAfee Inc., and from 2009 until its acquisition in February 2011 by Intel, and Lucasfilm from June 2011 until its acquisition in December 2012 by Disney.
