Lori Sweeney lost 125 pounds in three and a half years the slow smart way and has maintained for over 5 years. Her story along with her system are featured in her book Goodbye Fatness Hello Gorgeous! Lori was an overweight child who was mercilessly bullied as a result. Her weight increased as her self-esteem decreased.
Lori turned to food for comfort and went from overweight to obese. A major car accident led to two knee surgeries and more weight gain. At this point she had a broken soul and physical limitations. With all the courage she could muster Lori got in the right mindset and was able to tackle healthy eating obstacles.
