Lori Sweeney lost 125 pounds in three and a half years the slow smart way and has maintained for over 5 years. Her story along with her system are featured in her book Goodbye Fatness Hello Gorgeous! Lori was an overweight child who was mercilessly bullied as a result. Her weight increased as her self-esteem decreased. Lori turned to food for comfort and went from overweight to obese. A major car accident led to two knee surgeries and more weight gain. At this point she had a broken soul and physical limitations. With all the courage she could muster Lori got in the right mindset and was able to tackle healthy eating obstacles. She listed triggers and situations that caused her to overeat and paired them with solutions. Lori persevered and continues to do so. She does talks concerning empowerment bullying healthy eating tips/tricks for weight loss and how to eat healthy/be fit in the workplace. She is known to tailor talks to specific or broad topics that a client desires. She does talks at workplaces libraries and other venues. In October 2015 Lori did a TEDx talk: From Bullied to Bold now on YouTube. She looks to do future talks but is also looking to do endorsements for products with great value.
