After receiving a prize from her hero Lucille Ball at Northwestern University, Lori Chase began her career as a musical actor. After a lengthy career performing in the theatre in both Chicago and New York, Lori came to the conclusion that stand-up comedy was what she had always wanted to do.
She hid out for one and a half years at her local comedy club, the Boston Comedy Club in New York City, where she performed almost every night and bombed her way to creating an act. She became friends with Danny McDermott of the Comedy Soapbox, and they started working together.
