Lisa Fitzpatrick is the founder and CEO of Grapevine Health, a nonprofit that helps Medicaid-managed care companies increase patient health literacy and care participation. She is a professorial lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Fitzpatrick, a physician and epidemiologist specializing in infectious illnesses, was formerly the medical director of the DC Department of Health Care Finance. She began her career with the CDC, where she rose through the ranks to become a US diplomat in the Caribbean. Fitzpatrick is also a co-founder of the Washington, DC-based charity Community Wellness Collective. She is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and an Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellow.
