Linsey Davis Biography

Linsey Davis has established herself as a distinguished American broadcast journalist who works as an anchor and author while also being involved in television streaming and radio broadcasting and children’s literature.

Linsey Davis serves as the main anchor of ABC News Live Prime streaming news and co-hosts World News Tonight on Sundays. The ABC network hired her in 2007 to become a correspondent for Good Morning America Nightline 20/20 and both weekday and weekend editions of World News Tonight. The ABC News network selected her to moderate their Democratic presidential debates in 2019 and 2020 and she received national attention for moderating the critical 2024 Trump–Harris debate. Vogue magazine named her "a star" moderator because of her composed and direct and fair approach to live television broadcasting.

Linsey completed her education by obtaining a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Communications from NYU.

The journalist has written six children's books which include How High Is Heaven? and Girls of the World (2024) in addition to her journalism work. Through her writing she weaves together elements of faith and family and hope to create inspiring stories for children.

The Emmy Award winner and Edward R. Murrow and duPont-Columbia honoree Linsey Davis leads a dynamic career while maintaining her Christian faith and family life with her husband Paul Roberts (married March 10, 2013) and their son Ayden (b.
