Lino DiSalvo Biography

Paramount Animation's Creative Director is Lino DiSalvo. He formerly worked as an animator for Walt Disney Animation Studios after graduating from Vancouver Film School in British Columbia in 1997. DiSalvo, a 16-year Walt Disney Animation Studios veteran, most recently worked as Head of Animation on Frozen, the Academy Award®-winning and highest-grossing animated film of all time. DiSalvo began his career as a Character Animator at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. Prior to Frozen, he worked on Tangled and Bolt as a Supervising Animator. Other films in which he has worked as an animator include Meet the Robinsons and Chicken Little. DiSalvo will help Adam Goodman and the Paramount Animation team develop a world-class feature animation studio in his new capacity. Lino will also be directing his first film for Paramount. After viewing The Lion King on the big screen in 1994, DiSalvo, a Muppets fan, was lured to the animation profession. I was born in Brooklyn and grew up on Long Island, New York. With his wife and kid, DiSalvo presently resides in Los Angeles, California.
