Linda Greenhouse is a Knight Distinguished Journalist in Residence at Yale Law School and a Joseph Goldstein Lecturer in Law. She worked for The New York Times from 1978 until 2008, covering the Supreme Court and writing a biweekly legal column. During her 40-year tenure at the Times, Ms.
Greenhouse won numerous major journalistic prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize in 1998 and the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism from Harvard University's Kennedy School (2004). She received the Carey McWilliams Award from the American Political Science Association in 2002 for "a substantial journalistic contribution to our knowledge of politics."
